Every pilot knows the stress that can come from a check ride. The training that is involved obtaining your ratings is stressful enough, then you have to prove your knowledge and skills to the FAA for every rating or license you need, depending on what you are intending to do.
As an airline pilot we are tested and checked every six months and sometimes at radome. Also, frequent drug test and a medical evaluation every six months. It is difficult to stay on top of it all and when you mix in family, business, relationships, & health, it can be a little overwhelming sometimes.
I just finished five days in Dallas, Tx at our flight academy from recurrent training and a checkride last night that ended about midnight. It was an hour oral exam followed by a four hour flight in the simulator in which the evaluator is throwing all kinds of emergency situations at you. All of this after only one day off, not much fun!
Again, I cannot stress the importance to everyone, especially airline professionals of having a side business. There are so many varibles in maintaining my job, not to mention the condition of the airlines or the overall economy. No one is safe today, we need to be taking better care of our selves physically and financially. How safe are you today? How healthy do you feel? I would love to share some information that can bring you better health and wealth into your life. Just drop me a line sometime on my blog or on twitter at mikejonesnow.

Mike,
Sounds like you’ve been swamped lately. Check rides sound like a boot camp that keeps coming back. Good luck, I know you’ll press forward to success.
Best,
Justin
