First Class at FL38.0

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

First day back to work and I was able to score a seat in first class, it is truly the only way to fly! As a pilot, I can jump seat on other carriers to get to and from work, usually the flight attendant will give me a first class seat if one is available. That normally does not happen any more since airlines will offer cheap upgrades to first class now to generate some additional money. Good idea for them, but kinda sucks for me!

I use to always get a first class seat on my way to work or home, it was just one little thing that I looked forward to. Now, for the past two years, I am stuck in the jump seat in the cockpit or a middle seat in the back row, not a very comfortable ride, but it gets me there and back.

I always look at the positive side, it has motivated me even more to work my business. we should all be able to fly first class if we want. I know that people think one of the perks of working with an airline is you get to fly for free. That is true, but if the airplane is full of paying passengers, you don’t get to go. When I travel now, my wife and I pay for our own tickets, so we know that we will make our vacation and not spend it in an airport terminal somewhere.

Take vacations, fly first class, live well. We are not suppose to live a life of mediocrity and if you are, then do something to change it.

Memorial Day Fun

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a happy and safe Memorial day. I will be flying over the week end, wishing that I was at home on the lake with friends and family. It will not be the first time that I have found myself in this situation, that is why I am such an advocate for having mutiple side businesses.

After having my son, I grew tired of being gone all of the time and missing out on Christmas, birthdays and other special occasions. Also, there has been little moment in the airline industry for the last ten years. It is just not the airlines though, I have many friends with other companies and no one feels safe or secure or even happy with their current situation.

You know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I finally got tired enough to get off my butt and take action and I am glad that I did. It is great knowing that I will not always have to play the game, one day soon I will be able to go to work or stay at home and work my business. Life is about having choices, it is time to take action. I have yet to talk with anyone that I work with that is happy with the money that they make and the time off that they have, are you?

Contact me and I can share what I am doing and also what other airline pilots are involved with that is allowing them a great additional income and giving them peace of mind.

Growing your downline

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

I just had some work done today around the house, some wood work and painting. The gentleman that did the work was a super nice guy, but you would not know that just by looking at him. He has tatoos all over his body, a long beard, many peircings and of course he like to ride his Harley.

I guess a lot of people still like to judge a book by the cover, I started talking to him about just things in general and then we moved into health and nutrition. He is 40 years old, has a fifteen year old daughter and is concerned about maintaining his health, I shared some Monavie with him and told him what it had done for me and my wife and he was very interested.

Always be willing to talk about and share your opportunity with people, you will never know what that person may be needing or wanting in their life until you ask them. That is one of the best ways to grow your downline, just talk about what you are doing, what it is you are involved in. You might be surprised at the number of people that are looking and are interested in what it is you are doing!

Interview with a Diamond

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

I just completed my interview with Russ Jones. Russ is such a great guy, he is a senior Captain with US Airways with over 30 years in aviation and a Diamond in our Monavie business. Just working his side business part time, Russ has achieved an income of 200,000/year in just two years. How great is that, can you imagine having that kind of income from your part time job? I hope so, Russ and I talked about how people have forgot how to dream, we have all had our set backs and disappointments in life, but it is time to take action and stop feeling sorry for yourself and stop thinking that you do not have choices.

I talk with a lot of people every week and I hear the same old stories over and over again. I am to busy, I just do not have the time, my job is to demanding, I could never start a business, stop making excuses and take action. If you are to busy or your job takes to much of your time and yet you are not happy, you should be mad! It makes me mad to have a job that I am told when to come to work, when I can go home, how much money I will make and if and when I will get to take a vacation. When you have a business, you can control all of those issues that may be upsetting in your job.

Russ and I both love to fly, even though there are draw backs from the job, I guess even in this environment the good still out ways the bad. Make no mistake though, just like many people we know that there is no job security in the airlines or with most other jobs now a day. That is why it is so important not to take a chance, if you invest in your companies 401k or have a stock portfolio, I know that you do not have all of your money in just one stock. Diversify, it is the best way to provide financial security for you and your family.

If you like your job and want to continue that is great, keep doing it, but take a little time and start a side business. The additional income will be helpful in paying off debt, building your emergency fund, paying off your mortgage, sending your kids to college or just taking exotic vacations with your spouse. Also, there are tax advantages from owning a business that can be very helpful. If you have been thinking about taking action and are interested in a side business, just leave me a comment below and I will share with you what is working for me and many others today.

Important Upcoming Interview

Friday, May 14th, 2010

This week I am interviewing one of my mentors in my network marketing business, Russ Jones is a senior Captain with US Airways and a Diamond in the Monavie business. We have different levels within the business, a Diamond earns over 200,000 a year, not bad for a part time side business. Russ and his wife Melanie hit Diamond in 2 years time, that is very respectable. We have individuals hit Diamond and above in less than a year.

I have met three American Airline pilots that have walk away from there “job” trading their hours for dollars to work Monavie full time. Each one was a Black Diamond and above, Black Diamonds earn over 1.5 million a year, yes I said million. This is an amazing business and Russ and I are going to talk about the business and the need for having your own business next week.

It does not matter if you are an airline pilot or a dock worker, you need to listen to this interview. Now more than ever it is vital that we protect ourselves financially and it has become increasing difficult to do so in the last few years. It will only get worse, if you have a good job making good money that is great, you still need a business. If you do not like your job or the money that you currently make, you need a business.

It does not matter what your goal is, if you are looking to create wealth in your life, retire early, pay off your mortgage or get out of debt, having a business can allow that to happen for you much sooner in your life. Drop me a comment and let me know what is the most important thing to you now, what are you struggling with in your life or your business.

Risk vs Reward

In previous post I have talked about risk vs reward. It is something that some of us are faced with everyday, especially in business or a business opportunity you must look at the risk vs your reward. Some days I just have to laugh when I introduce my opportunity to someone new and even after I have spent time with them and discussed the risk vs reward and shown just how little money that it does take to get started, most still hesitate as if they were buying a house or making some other huge expensive commitment.

I can appreciate someone taking some additional time to evaluate any opportunity, but sometimes you have to stop kicking the tires and commit. We have all had our failures and hit obstacles, but do not let that stop you from reaching your full potential. We are not put here to lead a life of mediocrity, we are put here to be exceptional. If you want to experience success in your life, take a chance, step outside of your comfort zone. Learn to stretch you imagination, reach for something better, do not settle for just a job. You deserve much more out of life than you are probably getting at the moment.

If you are curious on how to be able to how a quality of life that you and your family deserve, drop me a line. I will be glad to take the time to share with you an exciting way to increase your income and provide you and your family with the lifestyle that you deserve.
