Holiday Madness

Thursday, November 25th, 2010

It is the day before Thanksgiving and unfortunately I am making my way to the airport for a four day trip. It seems to get crazier every year, millions of people off to visit friends and family for the holiday. I do feel good about being able to get some of those people to their destinations to spend the holidays with their love ones but, at the same time I am very sad that I cannot spend it with my own family.

That is why I am such an advocate for the entrepreneur, my friends that have their own business are spending the time with their family for the holidays and are not concerned about trying to get to work or get back home after the madness ends. I will be there as well soon, with a business it does not happen overnight. You have to take action and work to build it everyday and keep your goals in sight.

Once I exceed my income with my airline job by double, I will feel more than comfortable walking away from this job. Just thinking about spending all of the holidays with my family and not having to worry about the issues that surround my job or about how much my next paycheck is going to be, makes very excited.

The new year is rapidly approaching, I know many are working on your resolutions for 2011. Eating better, getting into shape, mending broken relationships, starting that business, start laying your ground work now. Get a plan of attack in place no matter what your resolution may be and write it down, something happens when you actually put it all on paper. Look at it daily and do not give up, the most successful people I know are the most persistent ones, not necessary the smartest ones.

You will achieve your goals if you just do not quit. This could be your year and I know of no other business that can help you achieve financial success as quickly as network marketing and the health & wellness industries. Required Reading

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

I was just talking with my First Officer on a flight last night from Miami to Norfolk and I was pleasantly surprised to hear what he was involved in. Drew is one of our young pilots, but already has a great start on life. He has the right mindset and sees the opportunity that exist in the network marketing business.

We were discussing all of the books that we have both read that have been very helpful in creating the proper mindset for success. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich, The Secret, The Millionaire Next Door, The 4 Hour Work Week, Good to Great, are just a few that we have in common and cannot express the need to read these books if you want to experience success in your life.

The new year is just a month away, time to start evaluating where you are today and where you would like to be this time next year. There is a lot of talk about taxes and what is going to happen when the current tax breaks expire. They may get renewed and they may not, it really does not matter. There are already laws being written against us in order for our politicians to get that money back if the current breaks are extended.

The government will always gets their cut, all we can do is try to use their rules to our benefit. You must have a business to be able to take advantage of the tax laws that exist for business owners. There are many that you can use that will benefit you greatly. Pick up one of the books mentioned above and start to plot a course to financial freedom.

The Power of Leverage

Thursday, November 11th, 2010

The power of leverage is very important, there are not many opportunities out there where you can leverage other peoples time and talent to help you grow your business and being involved with an opportunity that is international, your business can grow 24/7. All I need is a phone, laptop and help from my upline and I can do business when ever and where ever I want to. It is very exciting to see that check come in the mail every week, regardless if I work the business this week or not. That is residual income, you do the work once, then get paid from that effort over and over again.

It can grow very quickly, once you get that one person on your team that really sees the opportunity and understands that this is a performance based business, meaning the harder you work the more money you make. You will be amazed at how quickly your business can grow. I am also involved in real estate which I love and I feel that is a great way to build long term wealth and have a residual income, but it is terribly unforgiving when you make a mistake and it is extremely risky in this environment.

Network marketing is the best business to be involved in today and if you combine that with health & wellness you cannot go wrong. Paul Zane Pilsner wrote that more millionaires will be created in the next ten years from the network marketing and health and wellness industries than any other business. People are starting to catch on and are tired of struggling in their day to day jobs.

Warren Buffet owns two network marketing businesses and says that is was the best investment he has ever made. Donald Trump just started a new network marketing company. Robert Kiyosaki ( Rich Dad Poor Dad author ) calls this the perfect business and says that if he had to start over and recreate his wealth he would do so in network marketing.

Check out the companies that I am involved with and you will find that they meet all of the recommended requirements for a successful opportunity. What do you have to lose? Take control of your life and stop slaving away at you JOB for 40 plus hours a week with only two days off if that and little if any retirement at the end of you 40 year commitment.

I do not know about you but when I retire I want to live a least as good as I did while I was working. Living on half the money or less is just unacceptable. Take some time check out my companies at www.healthandwealthforpilots.com.

The Power of Network Marketing

Friday, November 5th, 2010

I know many people that have herd of network marketing, direct sales or multi level marketing may have a bad impression of these types of businesses. Thanks to Amway, many people embarked on a career in network marketing through an Amway opportunity and most failed miserably. Don’t get me wrong, you can still make money with this opportunity, but it is very difficult. Especially, if you do not have any experience in this type of business.

My first MLM company was Monavie, the product is great but the binary compensation plan is old and
makes it difficult to earn a rewarding salary in a timely manner. Most people quit an MLM opportunity within the first 90 days. We have short attention spans and if we are not seeing a reward for our efforts then it is off to the next thing.

You have to commit to your business and be patient, choose wisely and get involved with an opportunity that has a great compensation plan, one that pays well and compensates you for your teams total volume of sales, not just what you produce as an individual. You need to get involved early, within the first year. The people that experience the greatest success are those that get involved early. The product needs to be affordable, especially in these difficult times. Most people are not willing to pay 150.00 a month for a juice that makes them feel good.

Also, having your prospect commit to getting involved at a higher level, not at the entry level position of the company. You want business builders to join your opportunity, this will get rid of the tire kickers or people that are not serious about your opportunity. This is an amazing business, I have to admit it that even I had no interest in this type of business at first. Once I educated myself on how the business works and spoke with some ordinary individuals that are in this business and doing well with it, I had to try. No other business opportunity can you get involved with for so little money and have no risk and reap such great rewards, check it out.
