I just love running into those few people that want to tell me that my network marketing business is a pyramid scheme. Today in the Money section of the USA Today newspaper the title reads “CEO pay soars while workers’ pay stalls” CEO pay jumped 27 percent in 2010, workers however saw their compensation grow by 2.1 percent.

CEOs received a median of $2.2 million from bonuses, up 47 percent from $1.5 in 2009 and a healthy 7 percent boost to the median salary, which is now $1.1 million dollars. Coke, IBM, Wells Fargo, Aflac, 3M just to name a few companies that are true pyramids. You probably work for a company that has a structure just like theirs, I know I do and it sucks, IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE!

At your job you will never make more money at the company than those above you, that is a fact, but yet people scoff at my business and say that it is a scam. I have many people in my group that I brought into the business making more money than myself, because they are working harder than me. The top guy on my team made $ 13,000 last month, can you do that with your job?

This is a performance based business, you get out of it what you put into it! With the technology that we are using to grow our business we are working smarter now more than harder, but you still have to put some time and effort into learning the business if you want to be successful, you just can’t sign up and wait for the money to start pouring in.

I truly believe that if you can help enough people get what they need, then your needs will be met. I believe Jim Rohn made that quote as well as many others that I try to live by. One of my favorites is, “do not wish it was easier, wish you were better,” and another one that sticks in my head everyday is, “its not the blowing of the wind, but the setting of the sail, the same wind blows on us all.”

We all have 24hrs in a day, it is what you choose to do with that 24hrs that will set you apart from others. If you do not have the financial freedom in your life that you want, you have no one else to blame. You have to ask yourself what are you doing to better your situation, are you taking action everyday, are you seeking out others that are successful that can mentor you, are you being consistent?

If you are doing these things then you will find success, just do not quit! I recently was introduced to a very success gentleman name John Freedom, pretty cool name considering he has experienced financial freedom for most of his life. John introduced me to a business that helps people eliminate their monthly gas and grocery bill and earn a nice income as well by doing so.

I have been in other network marketing businesses, some good some bad, but I have never been involved with an opportunity that allows me to really make a difference in someones life at this level. I believe in the health and wellness products that I take and recommend to others, but during these difficult economic times it is very hard for most people to pay an extra 100-150 dollars a month for a nutritional supplement, even though it is very important to their over all health.

Just wanted to share a funny video that was sent to me today. I just finished working in my yard for the past three hours and when I realized just how much work I could have accomplished in my business I decided to call and set up a yard service for the rest of the summer.

100.00 a month that will free me up approximately 8 hours, I wish I would have thought about doing this much sooner. I always thought that I would spend money on things that I was not able to doing and save money doing those things that I was capable of. When you do the math 100/8=12.50 I feel that my time is worth far more than 12.50 per hour, what is your time worth to you?

I cannot stress enough the importance of not quitting. You may fall down, you may get beat up a little bit at first in business, but that is okay. It is all a part of the learning process, you learn more from your failures than you do from your successes.

I must say that my failures have been many in the past two years, but I have learned so much from each one. You cannot be afraid of failing if you want to be successful in life. Pick something, find a mentor, do not quit, it is just that simple.

This concept is also very powerful when applied to your network marketing business, just help a few people get up and running and show them how to help others make money and you will succeed. When you help enough people get what they need, your needs will automatically be met. Try to focus your efforts on others and help them to succeed and see what happens. I do not know anyone in this business that has been successful that is selfish.

As far as the business goes, in this economy you just cannot afford not to have something going on the side in addition to your job, if you have a job that you like and want to maintain. If not, then you have an even greater need for a business. Stop stalling and take action today, get off the fence and get into the game.
